Next Session: January 15 at 12 pm ET

This month, we’re using poems to explore how mindset shapes our inner world.

This month, we’re paying attention to the parts of stories that stay with us—the ones that reflect something real about our inner world.

We make space for the full picture here. The hard days. The heavy feelings. The moments of uncertainty, but also those moments of simple beauty. Nothing needs to be fixed or wrapped up neatly. Simply noticing is enough.

In this month’s Stories & Screens, we’ll explore:

How mindset shapes how we experience our lives
Why acknowledging difficult feelings matters
What it means to feel “lost” without something being wrong
How small moments can shift perspective
How to listen more closely to your own inner voice

You’ll leave feeling:

More grounded in where you are
Less alone in what you’re carrying
A little lighter and more open
More connected—to yourself and to others

Join us for free. No pressure.
Just a thoughtful space to reflect, connect, and grow.

“Life imitates art.”
And sometimes, art says the thing we didn’t know we needed to hear.

A line in a book. A scene in a show. A moment in a podcast.
You’ve felt that spark—that pause—when something clicks.

A soft insight. A hidden nugget of personal wisdom.
Not loud or flashy, but real enough to stay with you.

Stories & Screens is where we talk about those moments—and why they matter.

What is Stories & Screens?

A “Book Plus Club” for Your Inner Growth Journey

Stories & Screens is a free, virtual club where we explore personal growth and development through stories told on screen and through sound.

We’ll reflect together using:

  • Podcasts

  • Movies

  • TV shows

  • And yes, maybe a book or two

It’s like a book club—but with a broader lens and a softer vibe.

Why It Matters

Not everything that fills our time feeds our growth. There’s a lot of noise out there—and when we’re moving fast, it’s easy to miss the quiet truths that help us come home to ourselves.

But every once in a while, something lands.
A moment in a show.
A sentence in a podcast.
A character arc that makes you think,
“Wait… is this about me?”

The stories we watch and listen to aren’t just entertainment—they mirror our patterns, our possibilities, and sometimes even our pain.

They can reveal beliefs we didn’t know we were carrying. They can remind us we’re not alone. And they can offer us a way forward that actually feels good.

This isn’t about analyzing content.

It’s about listening with a different kind of attention—one that helps clear Energetic Clutter and reconnect you to the life you’re here to live.

Let’s pause. Reflect. And find meaning in what we’re already watching, reading, and hearing.

Who It’s For

This space is for you if:

  • You love a good story—and also love talking about what it means to you

  • You want your personal growth journey to feel natural, not forced

  • You enjoy reflection without the pressure to fix or perform

  • You’ve shouted “OMG SAME” at a character on TV

  • You’d like to meet up with a group of people who enjoy a blend of fun and learning about themselves

  • Tanya Cole-Lesnick

Tanya brings years of experience helping people navigate their inner lives—first as a therapist, now as a personal growth coach. She has experience leading book clubs, both at Barnes & Noble and in her private therapy practice, always with a unique approach: turning stories into starting points for self-discovery.

With Stories & Screens, she’s opening up the circle—welcoming more people into a “book plus club” where growth comes from the media that moves us: books, shows, podcasts, and more.

Tanya has a gift for asking questions that open new perspectives and stir meaningful conversation. She believes transformation doesn’t have to feel like hard work—it can start with a sentence, a scene, or a shared story.

With heart, clarity, and a deep appreciation for connection, she creates space for thoughtful exploration and honest dialogue.

  • Carrie Jean Lipe

Carrie has energy, insight, and a millennial perspective that she brings to every conversation.

A daughter, aunt, writer, and self-published poet with an old soul and a deep love of history, her favorite stories are historical coming-of-age tales (think American Girl or the Dear America series). She wouldn’t be surprised if she lived in the 1800s in another life, so don’t be surprised when that historical flair shows up.

Rooted in psychology, hospitality, and shaped by years of building her digital marketing business (Content by Carrie Jean), Carrie has supported dozens of mental health professionals.

She blends curiosity, care, and lived experience with a deep appreciation for learning—and for what it means to be human on this earth.

She has grieved deeply and grown immensely, and she’s grateful to be here with Tanya sharing her story and hoping to spark meaningful conversation, reflection, and growth within you, too.

Come for the stories. Stay for the insight.
